Why no clans?

In Co-op, will we be able to pick which character we play as? Maybe have the ability to change like when you change teams in a custom game. Just seems like it would be easier if, say my friend wants MC but I'm the host and I want one of Team Elite and somebody else wants Arbiter. If we can't do that then we'd have to make someone make a new lobby and then we'd have to join in a certain order, if my thinking is correct. Sure seems a lot easier to just be able to hit 'x' and instead of 'Red Team', 'Blue Team', etc. it said the character names.

I have a question... What are the chances of actually being able to get a Halo 3 Legendary Edition? How many are being made? I would really like to get one and I hope that they aren't too terribly limited. ]

Here's some questions you could use to keep this great podcast going for a good long while. MystDragon3k asks: -Other than Red vs Blue, what fan videos have you seen that you particularly liked? -Why havent we seen any elites in the trailers or ViDocs? -What project do you have planned after you're done with Halo? -If you were drafted into the SPARTAN program, what would your ID number be? -Will any major characters die in Halo 3? -How many multiplayer maps will there be at launch? -Will you be able to spawn character models in Forge? -Why do Brutes put spikes on everything? -We know about the prowler...but is the Specter making a return, and if so, is the turret redesigned so its better than the H2 magnum? -Why is every human vehicle named after an animal? -What do you plan on doing to expand on the "Team Elite" characters? A future novel perhaps? A side game? -Will the Arbiter armor be available as an Elite armor premutation? -Could you make a Spartan armor premutation with Arbiter design features in mind? -Why did you choose not to include legs for armor premutations? -When you mention the Halo 1 and 2 cinematics redone for the Legendary edition of Halo 3...does that mean you completely redid the cinematics for HD graphics...or just put them in in the highest quality you already had? -Is the Elephant driveable? -And finaly...are there any enemies/monitors/forerunner characters we may see in Halo 3? hi bungie you guys underestimate the function of the clan system greatly, it was a lot more than a second friends list and while there was a lot more that could have been done with it, it was sufficient for organizing your team. If we could have something similar it would be most appreciated by all.

Question: How will Halo 3 look on PC LCD monitors(widescreen) via the vga cable, since they are a slightly different aspect ratios than regular widescreen LCDs cheers from Down Under

Question: When you fellas take a build home to play, what are the rules on where you can play it / who's allowed to see it, and is the possibilty of information being leaked ever used as an excuse to force people to leave the room so you have the TV to yourself? Also, are you guys bored of Halo3 yet (campaign inparticular)? After months and months of playing a game almost everyday, i'd get fed up.
