....can anybody bother explaining this to me?
What I am fixing to say might be controversial.
I do not support any type of war, thus how exactly can I support troops? In the military they break down your individuality and mold you to become one of them, ending your critical thinking and brainwashing you to whatever they need you to be, to fight in some pointless war that makes no sense. Why would I support the brainless indoctrination of thousands of people?
I have respect for people in the military, I mean it's not easy choosing a career like that, and no doubt the conditions are tough and you could put your life at risk. I feel sad when I see soldiers funerals and stuff.
I just simply...don't support what they do, at all. I do not support the war, and they are contributing to it, therefore I do not support them.
Living in south texas this opinion is obviously very frowned upon. Just wondering if some of you see my point?

Thats not what i meant, if he doesn't support the military, he shouldn't be in it. He just wants education money.
Posted by: Grimaldus That honestly depends on the state since most kids out of high school here turn to the Guard for their futures..He doesn't even have to pick an infantry job, if he's good with computers just get an IT job or good with trucks and go 88M as a truck driver it's just like a normal job.
Posted by: Raptorx7 If that's all he wants, he shouldn't join. They don't want people like him around. They should be dedicated.
Posted by: Grimaldus
Posted by: DaBatman92 I would sign up purely for the educational benefits. People ask me all the time about signing up with them, and I have to explain it all the time how I don't support it, therefore it probably wouldn't be a good idea for me to join, lol.
National Guard might be better for you, you remain a civilian and still get the educational payouts.
