Well see, the thing is, a lot of people don't hate 343i because of Halo 4's gameplay (or at least not [i]just[/i] because of that). A lot of the hate they get from people who 343i's whole entire treatment of the story and what they've been doing to the series on the lore front. I'm perfectly willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and plenty more chances when it comes to the actual gameplay and the mechanics of how the game works, because it [i]is[/i] their first game as a team (none of the people actually working on the game are strangers to creating games at all, they obviously know what they're doing, but it's their first time working together as a team and working on Halo), and because I never really ever had a problem with the gameplay or multiplayer in Halo 4. What people [i]do[/i] have plenty and sufficient grounds to judge 343i on though, is the story. They've released six+ books, two TV series (Halo Legends and Forward Unto Dawn) and have one more underway currently, and Halo 4.....that's plenty to judge their story skills on.....and with very few exceptions, they all absolutely [i][b][u]suck[/u][/b][/i] as Halo stores or part of the Halo universe. That is the whole entire reason why [i]I[/i] hate them, because of what they've done to the story and what they continue to -blam!- up on a regular basis.
