Choose your own horror (for reals this time!)

Alright, some of you may recall this thread in which I essentially took a character, gave him zombies, and made the whole thing a total farce. That was all well and good, but I think I owe you guys something a bit more serious this time around.  I know I've been saying this for months now, but this could literally be the last thing I write on this board before I'm gone. So, in the spirit of Halloween, I give you the revamped (pun intended) and revisited "Choose your own adventure"...horror style.(All rules in this thread still apply) ----------------- Kevin woke up with a throbbing headache.  He could barely remember anything about last night.  All he knew was that he had gotten drunk, met a girl, it was a full moon, and then everything else was blank. Vomiting in the toilet made his hangover a little better, but he still felt sick.  When he looked in the mirror, Kevin's eyes were drawn to several long scratches on his neck.  He shrugged, figuring it must have been a wild night. He walked into the next room and sat down on the sofa.  The television was already on and Kevin saw a breaking news story about some sick people in Los Angelas.  He changed the channel.  Everyone's sick in Los Angelas he thought to himself. To his surprise, the same news story was playing on that channel, and every other channel he flipped through.  "What's this?"  he muttered. The newsanchor was in the middle of a sentence, "to please head straight to the hospital.  Proper measures will be taken to ensure your safety and the safety of those around you." At that moment there was a knock in the door.  Kevin opened it to see several polices officers standing before him with grim expressions on their faces."Hey...is something wrong?" The officer closest to him nodded, "We need you to report to the hospital."  Eyeing his neck, the officer suddenly drew his baton, "Please don't resist us, we're trying to help you." "Uh huh," Kevin said slowly, staring at the baton with a heightened sense of anticipation. Should Kevin:1. Resist the officers.2. Go to the hospital peacefully. [Edited on 10.26.2008 3:23 PM PDT]

 • Hey Halifax! Answer this! Sam woke up in his abnormaly large New York appartment. His chest was throbbing and hurting as if someone had hit him with a baseball bat. He got up and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. When he looked in the mirror, he saw a massive cut at the corner of his mouth. He stopped brushing to check it out. Judging by the area it was in, he thought something had forced his mouth open wider that his skin could bear. Bewildered, he sat down at his computer to check the news online. When he read the top story, he sat back in his chair. It read, "Following a strange chain of events last night, a large crack in the pavement of 3rd street" That was two blocks from Sam's appartment. "Speculated to be an earthquake, the crevace appeared and caused hundreds of dollars of damage to nearby houses and vehicles and starting elecrical fires. Two hours after the incident, officers reported multiple deaths and several in the vicinity of the crevace and surrounding areas and several people missing. Police officers report several of the same kinds of crevaces all over Long Island and the surrounding counties. All residents are being advised to stay in their homes and to not leave until notified." Sam was nervously pacing his living room, his chest hurting more and more. What should he do? Should he stay inside like the news said? He had family members in other parts of New York, and he wanted to be sure they were alright. On the other hand, the place where the people had die was two blocks from his appartment. He decided to turn on the tv to see what was on the other news stations. It was the same story on almost every channel. His chest was killing him. He really wanted to see a doctor for it, but it might be very dangerous. But then the chest pain might be something serious. What should Sam do? 1. Go to the doctor 2. Stay in his appartment. BTW, not trying to copy you. This is my own story.
