Imagine being able to download nearly an entire Gig in nearly a second?! Would that not be the most awesome thing ever! Never have to wait again for hours on downloading a massive game from Steam.

What source do you think will support a feed of that sort of throughput? Having that much bandwidth is great and all, but unless you are pulling data from someone who has that much upstream capacity to give you, then the source is the bottleneck.

But this is actually only about 110 MBp/s. It'll take about 10 seconds to download a gigabyte file, at optimal speeds.
