Halo 2 Playlist Update & Stat Reset
Tonight is the night for the long awaited Halo 2 Xbox Live Matchmaking Playlist update and ranking reset. Tombstone and Desolation will be required for some of the playlists and if you purchased them before Monday, 5/7, you will need to download them again before you can play online. Both maps will become free in early July.

K... I was playing double team and worked my way up (with my buddy) all the way to the esteemed rank of 6 (OMG I KNOW!) and then BLAM after a game where i lose to two 8's (freaking pros i tell ya!) I come back to the pregame lobby and i'm a !!! a lowly 1! and my friend only lost one rank (which is acceptable since we did lose 3 games in a row....) but still, my question remains was there two resets? and if so why was i put back to 1 and my friend a 2. Also if this is a new cheating measure to stop superbounces, i'm going to say in my defense he did it first with a sniper rifle and i went up there and killed him with an SMG..... oh well just a quick question.

I dont know if this has happened to anybody else but me and two friend were playing team slayer and got up to eights and then after the game was over we left the post game and were lvl twos thats bull-blam!-. Chack my most recent games and you will se. I know this doesnt matter that much but thats just 8 more games i have to play to get back to that lvl. http://www.bungie.net/Account/Profile.aspx

Not only is it now unranked, it's 30 slayer matches to 1 skirmish match, and they've lowered the number of players in each match. Seeing as i just got a 360 for my b-day, i think i'll stick with the 360 games, and finally put down my battle rifle.... maybe. lol

wow for so many ppl that actually love this game there is alot of -blam!-ing going on. the game mix up where guest get into ranked games is just a flaw cuz there shrinking the MM playlist. it was already posted news that the overwhelmingness of rumble training that it was gonna be cut and just make rumble unranked at least thats what i got of that in the news a week or two back.about ppl -blam!-ing about 4 bucks and they come out free TWO MONTHS later not one, your all just really sad go play your pokeaman or something. i in my own opinion thought btb is just laggy 1 out of 10 games almost always through half the game, so what would you them trash to unranked btb or snipers, slayer, or hardcore. i really dont see why they didnt put at least desolation into hardcore tho its not that big and seems really like it would work. and for the rest of you -blam!-s get off bungie they have the best and most successful FPS ever on a console ....dont hate -blam!- appreciate. and thank you bungie ive already played both new maps in MM a few times and theyre freakin great.

wow! halo 2 is now officially garbage! i have played over 6200 ranked btb games,and now bungie decides to just get rid of it. this has me very pissed!!!!The biggest ranked team is team skirmish,4 on 4, why bother! anyone who misses ranked btb, dont fret, just play a mans game like resistance for the ps3, very close to halo 2, the only difference is that sony actully cares about there customers,and arent going to jerk you around for 3 years, its a shame that it has finally come to this,but this is bungies way of screwing over halo 2 players in order to hype up the halo 3 beta test , crackdown sucks!!!!!and finally (excuse the bad spelling) my parting words I say this -----blam!- YOU bungie -and microsoft!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally, the stat reset has arrived.Even though i just reached a level i havn't before i'm glad.Also hoping this banhammer kicks the crap out of cheaters(sick of those butt-pirates). Oh yeah, 6th page,maybe7th yessssssssss!

so far, my team slayer rank has only dropped 7 levels...according to the game at least, i haven't checked my stats on here yet.
