link
Secrets are revealed, trusts betrayed, and the Sangheili leader Jul 'Mdama's ultimate plan nears success. As Infinity's command crew makes a discovery that changes everything we thought we knew about the Forerunner Prometheans, the Spartans must attempt to rescue one of their own.
The Artefact is a Forerunner AI with Ancient Human memories. Chakas? Forthencho? Yprin? Looking forward to seeing how the story progresses, it's developing beautifully.

 • I wouldn't call the progression 'beautiful' - the pacing's annoyingly quick and the missions don't properly link to the episode preceding them. I understand them re-using maps, but there's no excuse for not having cutscenes on par with the campaign's. Yes, this season is free, but it should be an investment on 343i's part; a loss with the possibility of high returns if they sell future seasons. If this season is low quality (which aside from a couple of missions and the brief episodes, it is) then people won't be incentivised to buy the next. I certainly won't spend money on a season two, if it's going to be exactly like this one. They seriously need to step up their production values. Season 2 should feature longer CGI cutscenes, more varied locations, a plot linked to the missions and in-game cutscenes that aren't just 'look up, see the tower fire a blue bolt.' I like the story and I think the concept of the mode is brilliant, but it's execution needs sorting.
