Destiny picture in ODST

After all the arguments about whether this picture referenced Bungie's new game or not, I think we can safely say it does. So they've had the basic concept down since ODST. This will be good.

 • Yes. And in retrospect, it's absolutely amazing how it was there. But I remember that as soon as information began to leak about this Bungie project called Destiny more than a year ago, that picture was quickly brought up. But only many months after that does it finally make sense what it all means. But the Destiny project can be traced all the way back to the announcement of ODST when Bungie had another soon-to-be-announced project that turned out to be Reach and a "project that was so far in the future that it was nothing but a star in the horizon". Probably not the exact phrase as it was said in the Weekly Update, but still, Destiny can be traced all the way back to 2008 and I wouldn't be amazed if it began since Jason Jones hopped of the Halo train.
Posted by: flamedude Not sure if the city under the Traveler has been confirmed but Nairobi seems to be a good fit, though it could be nothing and just filler for ODST.
I assume it's Puerto Princesa. At least that's what the maps that have been part of the site background heavily hint towards. [Edited on 11.28.2012 1:09 AM PST]
