I know you have Questions...

It has come to my attention recently that many people out there in our big scary world are confused about something in their lives. This can easily be seen on a smaller scale in the lovely Bungie forums, with myriad questions constantly being fired around concerning every topic imaginable to man, Halo-related or not. Questions such as "Why is Don Mattrick such a douche?" "What is the hidden meaning behind the weekly update?" and "Do Flood poop?" are prime examples of such confusion. To remedy this confusion at least partially, I would like to offer a service: I will answer your question. Any question, as long as it abides by Bungie's Terms of Use, may be asked, and I promise to answer it to the most truthful and in-depth extent that I can manage. When you're ready, you may begin.

Prepare yourself, I am going to ask you questions that will gradually increase in difficulty. Think you can handle it? Q: During Ancient Roman times Italy was formally know as what? Hint: This "name" was also used as currency.
Italy was actually simply known as Italia, as it is now to its current inhabitants. It did, however, consist of about a dozen sub-districts, the name of one of which you may be thinking of.
A: "Italos" was the Greek word for bull-calf. Because the earliest Romas used cattle as a form of money this, as some would say "land of calves" soon became known as Italy. next question: Q: During the 13th century the Ottoman Empire began to spread its frontiers. The Ottoman Turks followed the Islamic religion and set out to conquer Christian cities. Gradually they controlled most of the Roman Empire. The troops of Sultan Mehmet II besieged this city for 6 weeks thus resulting in the collapse of this empire. 1) What city did Mehmet II conquer? 2) What Empire fell? Hint: This city fell in 1453
1) Constantinople 2)Byzantine
