Posted by: Xplode441
Posted by: funkbrotha10 The police officer was parked in a yellow emergency zone parking area. The police officer was not responding to an emergency. There were no spots open in the parking lot, which influenced his decision to park in the emergency zone. Therefor, his actions were abuse and a violation of the law. His attitude does not determine whether its abuse. His actions do. its as simple as that.
You're seriously ignorant OP. He wasn't abusing his power. "His actions do" what a stupid statement. If a average Joe parked there, would he be abusing his power? He was not using his power to justify his parking, therefore he wasn't abusing his power. Seriously, I can't wait for the judge to laugh in your face if you try to bring that up.
If an average joe parked there it would have been just as much of a parking violation. But the police officer parked there because he thought he could get away with it because he was in a police car. This is where the abuse of his authority comes in.
