MUSIC FANS - I'm calling you out brah
Fill in The Blanks
1960's - Sgt. Pepper 1970's - Dark Side of The Moon 1980's - Thriller 1990's - ??? 2000 ~ 2009 - ???? 2010+ - ?????????? I am stumped. Music that defined the generation. It has to be popular and mainstream...not a great album that only you and your dad know about.... For 1990's album or music that defined the generation....I would say Nevermind by Nirvana. And for 2000's I just don't know. Remember guys these have to be like, flawless albums, that are generally liked by anyone. For 2000 to 2009 I will submit American Idiot for Rock, and Late Registration for rap (Kanye West)

 • None of these defined a generation of music honestly. Plus it's kind of hard to define a generation with music unless you're specific on the type of impact it had. I mean yeah Nirvana definitely influenced a ton of bands(despite being garbage) but there were a ton of bands influenced other genres at the time. I'd even argue that the Melvins, who were somewhat of a Grunge band, influenced more people dramatically than Nirvana did. Same with Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin as opposed to Pink Floyd.
