Lets Discuss: Video Game Stories
Good ol' VG narratives. Sometimes great, but mostly pretty meh.
Why is it that games like Bioshock, RDR, Bastion, To the Moon, and many other games have great narratives that keep the player engrossed even after he or she has stopped playing? What do you enjoy in a VG story? What stands out for you? and what are some great examples of great story telling in Video Games?

Metro 2033. The mystery kept me thinking about is throughout the game. Also, for others who like the game, the book is better. I stopped playing the game to read the book.
