Not even gonna put on a flamesuit for this one.
While I don't enjoy his music, he has the dream life by doing something he loves to do. Granted his music is terrible, it isn't his fault he was contacted by a recording agent and offered stardom. I would take that deal if it were proposed to me. After he achieved stardom, he released albums that became hits among young people. Girls want him, boys hate him.
With fame aside, he has contributed to the LGBT community's "It Gets Better" program and has visited several children in hospitals, making them smile at the very least.
He has money, girls, fame, and does very good things.
I respect him.

People hate on him because he earns fame and fortune with minimal effort on his part. When he wants more money one week all he'll have to do is start singing some random crap about love and whatnot that really doesn't mean anything. People hate on him because people who aren't his fans are forced to listen to his music, whether it's at a sports stadium or some other event that has nothing to do with him. People also hate him because we have to see the "latest news" on him when it is completely inappropriate or simply when and where we don't want to see him. Who cares about who he dates? Does it matter in the slightest? No.
