"Those units have a priority task"
In the last cutscene of the level The Ark when the Master Chief is about to jump in a pelican, a lot of sentinels start appearing, then UNSC personnel prepare to shoot but 343 Spark tells them to stop, because they mean no harm since they have a "priority task".
But I don't recall to hear about them or their task later in the game.
Could these sentinels be heading to the new Halo Installation that was just getting finished? Or was there something I missed?
If it wasn't mentioned, what do you think this "task" was?
Posted by: agent wash282 Probably headed to 04B not to help but the defend. As 04B was almost finished and could be launched soon its defense (the sentinels) needed to get there to be ready.
I agree. You may be correct since the ones who build are this little thingies. I thought this was the case too but this brings me the question, doesn't every halo has it's own Sentinel Launchers and Sentinel manufacturing facilities? Why would they be in the Ark if the new Installation could produce it's own? Or is it because the Installation defenses are not working yet and that's the reason it can't produce it's own sentinels?
