I think my most fond memory of Halo 2 was On Delta Halo. I had just defeated the landing zone temple and was gearing up to move on When all of a sudden a Warthog drops in front of me. At first I thought "where the heck am I going to drive this thing". I hoped in it anyway and found a nice little path the flowed into the next area. What I saw next could only be described as beautiful. A giant lake with surrounding mountains (including Mt.Halo) and a flock of birds flying overhead, needless to say it was breathtaking. I sat there for a good ten minutes trying to see all I could see. I noticed the lake had far away temples and the trees were covered in moss, I wanted to think the covenant there were enjoying some shore leave. It was a scene only people who loved the game could understand. Thank you Bungie for the amazing times of random grenade kills, accidental betrayals and unforeseen splatters. It truly was an amazing ride.
