Halo 2 on Xbox LIVE to be disabled on April 15, 2010
Today Microsoft announced that as of April 15th they discontinue Xbox LIVE service for original Xbox consoles and games (i.e.Halo 2). This includes Xbox v1 games being played on an Xbox 360.

To everyone who has played, enjoyed and supported Halo 2 for it's 5+ years of dominance on Xbox LIVE, we thank you! It is of course sad for any of us to accept the end of an era but it's been a good ride.
That said, mark your calendars now - on April 14th we're going to hit Halo 2 en masse for one last HOORAH, old school style.

Ha yeah at least i it for vista and besides its cheap on the pc its only, what 13$ and theirs some good game controlers that are cheap so look at the bright side everyone, their no shutting it down for the pc and i seriously hope they never will because then it will become something that pretty much everyone has but it will be practically worthless so Bungie and Microsoft please dont shut it down on the pc, ever because halo 2 is the best but i dont know maybe halo 4 is going to be the best well that is if the rumors are true about the halo 4 so all im asking is to keep halo 2 up for the pc and make halo 3 for the pc too if you do shut down number 2 and even if you dont alot of us want halo 3 for the pc too so thanks by the way halo is the best game series ever. <------ my opinion.
