Bungie Weekly Update
Short and sour this week, with some interesting snippets, but mostly stuff that will make fans of certain matchmaking playlists really angry and abusive. So to them, we apologize in advance.

"Hmm, we know Team SWAT is ridiculously popular...so let's remove it, because it's a necessity." That makes zero sense. Literally, zero. How is it necessary to remove one of the most popular playlists? Let me think, what will that accomplish? Ok got it, it will make us have to play the crappy playlists more, hooray! Oh and go back to Team Slayer in which, if you are over a level 30, you get modded in about 1 out of 3 games. Awesome, thank you so much.

Why would such a huge playlist like team swat go? I don't understand? wuoldn't it be smarter to leave the two most popular in the list, for sure?

My wifes gunna like the spartan voice deal, she replied and will be all gitty bungie listened. SWAT was teh pwnage, oh well, i guess i'll go get modded in team slayer. I am sooooooooooooooooo glad swat is gone, couldnt stand it and felt it was taking up usage from other playlists. Sad to see multi go but oh well. Now all the swat heads have to play halo like it was meant to be played. HOOOOOOOOOOORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Team Swat don't leave me. Although some of the game types in SWAT are being moved, we will still only get them part of the time. I need 24/7 no shield pwnage. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reconsider putting SWAT games in their own category again especially for over Christmas break when I will be sitting on my @$$ doing nothing except playing Halo 2 (GOW & F.E.A.R.) on my 360.

Yes, sad to see SWAT go. We will look forward to its inevitable return. Personally, I am just happy that both BTB playlists are staying. HOO-RAH! Let's keep those matchmaking numbers up and prove Bungie wrong in their thinking we won't be playing. Liked the Mister Chief, but he would still pwn Bender. And ah yes, still missing the podcast. They've had the audio for how many weeks now? 4? Well they're busy peeps none the less. And guys, again for the millionth time, nobody cares if your on the front page. Even if its two days in a row. Can't something be done to address those not even commenting on the WU?

I cannot belive you took out TEAM Swat....that's the best gametype in the whole game! Whenever I took a break from Gears of War to play some Halo 2, it was to play Team Swat, because it's pretty much the only playlist I don't get cheated on...and now that it's gone, I don't see a point of playing any more. Removing such a popular playlist will definitly get a lot of people who were play Team Swat all the time play a different playlist, if thats what you were trying to accomplish, good job. But doing that will only encourage modders to cheat more in a playlist such as Team Slayer because there's so many more people going to it. Smart move Bungie, guess its back to GOW. Now, about the update. It was good, no new h3 info really but I suppose I can't ask for much considering everything we got on halo day. I don't get the mister chief this week though, MC would easily pwn Bender :P [Edited on 11/19/2006]
