Noble Six
Would you be interested in a novel based around the Spartan's earlier career before his transfer to Noble Team?

Since 6 was pumped to the level of 117 being all hyper lethal or whatever that was people most likely just complain about what the writer would have him do. [Edited on 12.31.2012 12:34 PM PST]

Noble Teams entire existance (members, operations, discoveries, accolades, losses, etc) must be put in a novel. From its creation all the way up to the events of Reach. It would give them the fleshing out and respect they deserve. Ive said this a bunch of times.

Some stories just don't need to be fully fleshed out. If Reach must be revisited again, I'd rather these smaller characters be explored in small chapters of a book, like Fortitude and the other Prophets in Contact Harvest. Or in a collection of small stories like Evolutions. Maybe a story about what happens when Jun is with Halsey, the history of the Rookie, etc.

Also, it could be a mix of flashbacks with giving details of what happened in between missions in Halo Reach. How did Carter mourn Kat's death? Why isn't Jorge a higher rank in the team?

I'm still a fan of the theory that six is alive. Bungie didn't explicitly kill him for a reason. It's up to the player to determine his fate. It's up to the player to determine six's past and his future. The only information bungie gave us was that six was the only other hyper lethal spartan other than John. That's all we need to know about him/her. Giving the community an official story about six would ruin the character and the game.

I liked what they did with Noble Six, a very "blank" character so you could imagine what you wanted. But then they killed Noble Six off, so you can't really head-canon his post-Reach career, so that kinda sucks. But eh, maybe it is better that way.

I'd like a story about the entire Noble Team before Reach. When Thom was still Noble Six. I'd rather the current Noble Six remain mysterious.

Noble six has to remain an empty vessel for the player to fill in their own story for him. Thats why you can choose his gender and what armor he/she wears.

I'd love it, I started writing a fanfic about his past a few years ago. Imagine Jason Bourne in MJOLNIR armor... in SPACE.

Noble Six was never intended to be fleshed out as a Story Char or else some one would have written a book about him. Rest of Noble with the Deceased Thom would be open for such. If anything the book could flesh out each character and the team as a whole. It could also help explain why Noble Team didn't seem to receptive of the new Noble Six at the beginning.

Not really to be honest. He was pulled out of the most interesting battle of Operation: TORPEDO to just be an assassin against rebel groups and whatnot.

Noble Six was a tribute to the fans. Other Noble team members would be intersting as i do write fan fics but as for Noble Six him self it would be the previous Noble Six Thom.
