The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
...Well, in North America anyway. I'm British but idgaf I'll celebrate with y'all.
Anyway, what were your feelings towards this game?
It's my favorite LoZ game (it was also my first) and I loved it, except that damn section towards the end. Yeah that one.
Posted by: chronicaddict420 Am I the only person who likes the original 2d top down zeldas more than the 3d ones?
Nope. Ive always preffered the original versions for a ton of series like Metroid, Castlevania and Zelda.
Posted by: Noshotskill
Posted by: DING DONG BANNU In retrospect, it's mediocre at best. There's a massive world with nothing in it, a forced stealth section right at the beginning (killing all urges to replay it), a grand total of four dungeons with a total of one of them being fun, a ridiculous Triforce fetch quest that only serves to artificially lengthen the game, and to top it all off, it's insultingly easy.
I still consider it the worst Zelda game on console (well only behind Zelda II due to its difficulty), but it was a great game for a 2002 Gamecube release. I'm surprised that world fit on one of those little discs, without there being massive loading times.
I'll give it credit where it's due, loading times were nearly nonexistent and the art style is so fantastic that it didn't age at all.

Ocarina of Time was my favorite, it was also new when I first played it.

Never played it. As matter of fact the only Zelda game I have played is Ocarina of Time. [Edited on 12.13.2012 3:51 PM PST]

My least favorite Zelda. Mainly because of the repetitive sailing, everything else was alright.
