I Knew Destiny Details Before All of You...
I tried to level with all of you... I tried hinting under the very nose of Bungie, what was to come in the future. I tried to tell you through cryptic signals and messages, but my voice was quelled by the demands of non-believers. But none of this bothers me, because I knew first, of the things that were to come.
I made many a thread trying to share, hoping and praying someone would pick up and understand the message, and I'm sure many of you recall these threads even though you failed to understand their intent.
Take [url=http://m.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=74931220]this thread[/url] for example. Almost all were oblivious to the clear almost transparent clue that I gave... Oh how I was disappointed. Are you [i]still[/i] failing to see it? Read the question list from top to bottom, first word, first letter only.

I believe mods have locked several of these threads before because they serve no purpose and ultimately have no point. I don't mind these threads that much but come on, there is a new one of these every week (sometimes several times a week) all about the same thing. Regardless, this "prediction" is a huge stretch. [/quote]I'd call it being an ass, but to each his own. He felt like making a thread, so he made a thread. Some people found it funny, other didn't. That's that. Multiple members going out of the way to argue and insult each other is the only useless thing in this thread. 'Serve no purpose?' Welcome to the internet. Half the Septagon has been threads discussing the same article for a week now. What makes this thread any different, other than it being more lighthearted? Honestly, i prefer this over people turning speculation over a vague leaked document into an argument about the shooter mechanics in past Halo games. What's the purpose in that? What's the purpose in any of the community forum? It's to have fun discussing Bungie related things. This was Helveck's way of having fun. Other had fun to. If you didn't have fun, then that's fine. But you don't have to try to ruin the fun for everyone else.

My suggestion would be that if you don't like a thread for whatever reason report it. The forum ninjas have the unfortunate task of deciding exactly how serious each thread should be and the name calling really doesn't help much.
