Dear Bungie. I salute you >:|
Upon having watched Halo 4 on youtube, a burden is bearing heavy on my chest which I need to rid myself of. You guys did an absolutely superb job with Halo Reach. I am honored to have bought that game. Yep, Halo 4 sucks -blam!-. You, Bungie, have spoiled me with your wholehearted effort and perseverance in making Halo Reach. It is so well polished in graphic and sound.
You don't know what you've got til something -blam!- comes along to replace it.

PS. I have NOT bought Halo 4
Alot of hope for Destiny. You won't let us down, I know it.

I thought Reach was the worst, 3's my favourite. It felt like it got better every time from 1-2-3, then Odst was ignored and reach was a disappointment in some senses. Halo 4 is pretty decent actually, and because you haven't even bought and played it yourself we know exactly what type of Halo fan you are. You are not one of us.

The campaign in 4, while alright, isn't as well rounded as the Reach campaign.

Thanks for that. 343 did a wonderful job and obviously it wasn't going to 'feel' like the other Halo games, it was made by a different developer.

I love both. Too many kids jumped on the 'hate Reach' bandwagon instead of formi.g their own opinions and thinking things through. Halo: Reach was fantastic. And Halo 4? I have yet to see a valid reason for it being anything less than superb. [Edited on 11.26.2012 8:57 AM PST]

The level of immaturity and ignorance needed to hate a game simply based off it being designed by another company and a couple videos astounds me. People comparing it to Call of Duty have more worth to what they are saying simply because they have actually played both games. This isn't some honorable feet, some moral highroad; this is a child whining and beating on the floor because he didn't get his way and it looks like someone else might of. OP, I've had my patience tested by members going over comparisons and harsh judgements since Halo 4 dropped. I truly had them tested when all the new members attacked Reach like some ritualistic slaughter, and again when 343i took over Reach and did the title update. But this, this truly beats all the rest in the mind numbing ignorance department. I truly hope an employee pops into this one and finally sets the record straight for you and all others who follow you over the bridge.

First off, you shouldn't be judging it if you haven't actually played it. Second, I would say that in general, both games are pretty good. However, due to certain gameplay changes, I don't believe that either game is worthy of the title "Halo." So while I might absolutely despise Halo 4 (Reach I don't like, but it has a few things going for it), in the big scheme of things, people have fun playing it, and that makes it a good game.

I don't agree with you that Halo 4 is a terrible game, and I won't judge you for thinking that way. One thing I have to admit though is how Bungie has spoiled me with the level of detail and intricacies in finding and activating easter eggs. I always feelbunderwhelmed when I encounter easter eggs in other games because none of them are up to Bungie's standard. <3 you Bungie.

Anyways, I would say I had more fun playing Halo: Reach than Halo 4. Halo 4 makes me angry a lot. But I still play Halo 4, it's not a terrible game by any means. Both games have their problems though. Looking forward to Destiny aswell.

I agree with you, mostly. Halo: Reach was amazing, I've thought that since I first played it, but, you shouldn't judge Halo 4 without even playing it. I bought the game with many doubts, thankfully, moist of them were unjustified. I still wish that Halo 4 could have been made by Bungie. I think that they would have made it the most awe inspireing game of all time. Though 343 did a good job on Halo 4, Bungie started it all. And I can't wait what Destiny will bring.

However, I'll point out that you and a lot of other people seem to be thinking that there's some sort of rivalry between Bungie and 343i. Do people not understand that Bungie was hoping for Halo 4 to succeed? (And it really did, in my opinion). Also, I don't think many people will care since you didn't even try the game, all you did was watch videos and compare it to Reach.

Honestly..... I hated Halo Reach and didn't think something that terrible could be topped..... I stand corrected..... Doesn't make up for that fact that Bungie started it all.
