XBOX 720
If memory serves me correct, the leaked bungie activision contract said destiny would be available for both the xbox 360 and the 720. In my mind this pushed back hearing about the new hawtness untill the 720 was announced.

So I have three questions
1. Do you think we will hear about destiny before, during, or after the 720 is offically announced
2. Assuming the 720 comes out sooner rather than later, do you think Destiny will be exclusivly for the 720 on xbox consoles?
3. Where does playstation come into play?

Meh. I have no interest in getting the newest version of the X-Box. I will not be buying any more non-portable consoles. If the PS3 had better games on it, I might just prefer it more. PC. Master. Race. [Edited on 11.19.2012 2:01 PM PST]

It's just that Eye Toy Mark 2 is just as much of a gimmick as the original Eye Toy but this time it's taking itself seriously. I really hope the only bit of Kinect Bungie uses in any of their games is limited voice controls. I agree with Hyle in that respect that that feature is legitimate and useful at times. ©

Okay so from what I am hearing destiny will be xbox 360, ps3, and probablly not 720 ( I think the name sucks too, but I think it's too late to change it)until the sequel. I also agree that the ps3 version will be sub standard to the xbox version. I would like to see a game that is seamless between the PC and xbox. grognok looks pretty cool for the 5 frames we saw in the vidoc. I really hope we can map edit on a PC and transfer to XBOX.

But who knows, 720 has been the fan-given name. @crazysnipe: If it comes built in the box, can't really complain about it, especially if it's better than the 360 kinect. So long as developers don't feel it's madatory to implement the kinect into their game. I feel kinect is much more for the broad media use of the console, rather than gaming. Though they can capture a certain audience with kinect games.

Destiny 1 and Comet 1 will be probably exclusively for this generation to begin with. Later on port over to the 720. Then all further releases will be made for the 720 alone. That's my prediction. So yes, we will hear about Destiny before 720 is announced, or at the same time, but I'm guessing before. If the 720 comes out sooner rather than later, meaning the summer? OR before Destiny is released, I'd still stick with my prediction. Destiny being multi-platform, they are working on a PS3 version. Though Bungie being exclusively Xbox for the past decade, we'll probably see some Bethesda like problems with the PS3 version. Perhaps different release schedules for both platforms, Xbox being first of course.

I'd guess they will call it the 720, but until an official comment comes out who knows. i dont see any hater sites about the name, rather it seems people are adopting it openly.

Besides, it's not all motion control, being able to command AI by talking to the Kinect would be pretty cool.

First Destiny is only on the Xbox 360. After that it will be on PS3 and Xbox 720. 1. Before. Reason? Look up. 2. Nope. Once again look up. 3. It does.

[url=http://documents.latimes.com/bungie-activision-contract/]You're welcome to read the contract yourself if you like,[/url] but if memory serves me correctly, they would come out with the Xbox 360 version of the game a year or so before they came out with the Xbox 720 or PS3 versions of their first game.
