What I have heard on TV from his newer stuff it's basically the same thing over and over anyway. But to me that's rap in general. Maybe some underground guys have something new to say but the popular rap stars say nothing in as many words as possible. It's been the same stuff for the past 10 years. When Wu-Tang came out it seemed fresh and new, ninjas and kung-fu. Tribe Called Quest kept it real.. Listen to his lyrics, especially from his first three albums. MBDTF was him mostly being humble, believe it or not. Have you not read stories of him and how he acts in public?

Haven't listened to much since then, he kind of turned me off with his ego. But yes he's talented, just needs to learn the meaning of the word 'modesty'.
