Okay, so I have no way of using the numpad in Garry's Mod. Immediately you can say "get an external keyboard". Okay! I WILL. The next time I'm in town I'll get one. But for now, what can I do?
GMod's keyboard options won't let me have two keys be pressed for a numpad key. E.g. I wanted Shift+1 Numpad 1. Can't do it.
What do?

Can't you just press the buttons by using the action key?
-
Plug in a USB keyboard and use two at once like a baws.
-
Re-bind numpad keys to j, k, l, etc.

You can buy an external USB numpad for around $20. Go to setting and go to 'keyboard' then change the Numpad to 1 - 0 on your keyboard. Why didn't you check Gmod setting... [Edited on 06.29.2012 12:05 PM PDT]

On most laptops these days there are no numpads. BUT, your laptop might have little numbers on the same keys as letters/other numbers. Hold the Function key (might should show up as "Fn" on your keyboard) then those keys with the numbers on them will act like a numpad.

Clint, mine doesn't :(
-
Look for the Num Lock key, press it. Your keyboard now has a number pad (little numbers on the right side of existing keys). At least that's how mine is.

Got wire.

Isn't there a virtual keypad? Also, get wire.
