Posted by: path1k
Posted by: Dr Syx I highly doubt it
since Halo Wars isn't on PC, i think it's safe to assume there will never be another Halo game for PC
Never say never. Extremely unlikely however... Personally it would be nice if ported correctly and I wouldn't mind seeing a Halo 4. Heck if they bundled Halo 3/ODST/Reach together I may even consider picking them up too. -
Posted by: Nin10doGuy77 wonn't w8 and x720 be like, interchangeable games?
I don't think you could be any less clear in what you are trying to ask, but I think the answer is no.

Then PS3 users would have no reason to buy an Xbox 360.

I'm hoping it's true. The Halo modding community has been shunned since H2. When you compare basic Halo PC modding (HMT, Eschaton) to H2 PC (Mr. Mohawk, Gravemind), you know something's gone horribly wrong. Of course it's even worse with H3, ODST, and Reach since you need Jtag... Horizon doesn't cut it and Liberty is barely a step up (at least for H3). The lack of support means I can't make my AI dreams come true. It's not worth taking the time to do that in newer Halo games because of so much impediment (invisible barriers, invincible allies killing enemies, no checkpoints, friendly AI sticking each other).
Posted by: DusK Oh wow, another Halo game. I'm so excited.
You are sarcastic, aren't you? :P Personally, I gave up being excited and informing myself about the release of new Halos when being hit by a meteorite has become more likely than seeing new Halos for PC.
Posted by: JakeYokley577 It would be cool, but idk, it might just freeze everytime. Maybe when the game comes out and everything is confirmed, someone can mod Halo 1 and 2 for PC to be like Halo 4?
Better idea would be to play Halo 4 instead. Game conversion mods never go well.

I'd like it, if it's done correctly (Halo PC style not H2V). But as Syx said, IF it is true it will be via Windows 8. -
I hope so, although my computer might die on me.
-
The only chance there will be Halo 4 on PC is if Windows 8 comes with the ability to play 360 games. Other than that, I highly doubt it. Just keep in mind that it's been rumored that every Halo was going to get a release on PC. Halo 2 was (Much before it was decided that it would be ported), Halo 3 was, Reach was and now Halo 4.
