Well I've been doing some rigorous research on the Mongolian Empire for the Assassin's Creed movie and decided to take a break. I am working on a character, to be a main character, he's Altaïr's long lost old friend, Savasci Kilic-Ustasi.
Reunited many decades later to find out that Savasci is now not only a Master Assassin, but also Mentor and Leader of the Mongolian Assassins.
Each main Master Assassin has their own unique looks that separates them from the others.

Well, Savasci needs his own as well, if any of you artist want to give it a try go ahead, I have one artist I know making a sketch now, but best to keep options open, so make a sketch of an Assassin, and their unique clothing, as you can tell, each Assassin has their own signature touch, feel free to add anything to it. Make it with a reddish theme.
The rest is up to you. Then I must make haste to make the costume a reality, for the film.

Oh Mega, you win. Double reference for epicness xD
Posted by: The 13 Doctors Well nothing from Omega, anyone else?
I'm getting there. Creating an original look while fitting in 3 different styles of clothing at once is a hard thing. I'm a Doctor not a fashion designer!

Well nothing from Omega, anyone else?

Nice, currently I'm looking at this picture http://www.mongolian-yurt.com/resources/P_Armor.gif Envisioning a cool Red/Orange robes and hoods, I'll leave you to it, I'll be here all day, just pm it. Make sure to put the Assassin symbol somewhere on there. [Edited on 12.12.2011 6:24 AM PST]
Posted by: The 13 Doctors Indeed. I'd love to find it but I doubt a Google search will do me any good. As for the sketch, feel free to add any accessories or anything else, Yusuf has a Sash and Ezio the cape, nothing is out of the question, well don't take that literally, SOME things are.
I'm aiming for a cross between Mongolian Armour and clothing with the standard assassins gear like the hood, Hidden Blade Bracer. I've got a outline started, searching around for inspiration. I'll post what I've got when I finish my first sketch.
Posted by: The 13 Doctors I've actually heard that, as well as a belief that Hitler had it at one point then lost it somehow, though these days a sword wont do much good in a war
Legend has it that the legitimate owner of the sword cannot be killed in combat.
Posted by: The 13 Doctors Well there were Mongolian Assassins, but they weren't exactly in charge of the Mongolian Empire. Though my research on the book might cause some changes, still need a unique costume for Savasci. Apparently Khan was using a piece of Eden called The Sword.
Sword of God. Interesting peice of history, it's believed by some historians that Attila The Hun was also in posession of this "Sword of God" during his life before it made it's way into Genghis's hands about 1000 years later.
Posted by: Omega Gamma Because I've got a lot of time on my hands I'll have a go at a character design of this Mongolian Master Assassin for you.
Thanks Omega, you're a life saver. Speaking of time, I just found myself with an entire day of time. Now I shall use it to research all of Mongolian History, and read that book.
Posted by: The 13 Doctors There were Mongolian Assassins, read 'The Secret Crusade'. Also, the fact that there were Ottoman Assassins didn't stop the Janissaries from raising the Golden Gate Chain to capture Ezio.
Never read the literature. The two times I attempted to, the writing quality was atrocious. :/

Mongolian Assassins? If that were the case, the Mongolians wouldn't have attacked Masyaf, or the "Mongolian" Assassins would have prevented it.

Or clothing designers would be better actually, get a feel on the 13th to 16th century hooded look or some crap like that Idk. Also, a dual sided staff sized blade. That can split up into two blades.
