Can anyone give the real Halo timeline (books and games)
i just ordered my first Halo book, Halo: the Fall of Reach.
But i want to know the timeline so that i can read this book and other books (when i order them) in the right order.
Does anyone know the halo timeline?
I know this so far Halo: Contact Harvest
Halo: The Fall of Reach
Halo CE during Halo: The Flood
Halo: First Strike
Halo 2
is this timeline correct?
Can you give me the whole timeline from the books and games.

I'm working on a timeline including all media (books, games, comics, shorts etc). Haven't worked on it for a while, and it's not done yet, so there are some elements which are a bit iffy at the moment, but will post it in a while. Like I said above: some parts are a bit hard to place. Esspecially some of the stories in Evolutions. - Headhunters: should take place somewhere between 2541 and 2551, because they are using prototype VISR equipment, which was first seen being used by ODST's in 2551 (Helljumper). Also: Jonah is part of Beta Company, conscripted in 2539 and having had at least 2 years of training. - Prototype (Legends): Hard to place, according to Halopedian sometime between 2548 and 2552. The first one seems most likely to me. - Midnight at the Heart of Midlothian: Follows up on Prototype, shortly after that story. So most likely sometime around 2549-2550 - Primordium: Not out yet, should overlap slightly with Cryptum if I understand correctly. The rest should be about right, or at least not far off from the actual timeline in the Universe. I used dates from the books, games and comics for this one, added with timelines found on Halopedia and Wikipedia, and some 1+1 logic (like with Headhunters) added on top. Still: maybe some of the other hardcore members here have a better idea how to place some of the iffy-dates in this timeline. [Edited on 11.27.2011 2:08 AM PST]

Contact Harvest Cole Protocol The fall of Reach Halo Reach Halo CE/ The flood First Strike Halo 2 Halo 3 Ghosts of Onyx (This book covers a lot of time, but the end of it is continued in glasslands) Halo Glasslands Not too sure where cryptum, evolutions, or Halo wars fit in there, i've never read/played them.
