Ok so it's my first time trying to do system link in Reach. We hooked a couple of xboxs together and when we switch network to "system link" we can see eachother. BUT it won't let me join the players on the other xbox. Help please?
Posted by: Rab Ok I think the problem might be that my friend doesn't have the recent update for Reach, and so the game versions are different.
That would make the most sense, we all learned a bit more today lol.

Check the network settings in the game menu, I'm sure Halo reach has various ones, like local network etc.

If so some routers only allow one NAT device, we had a similar problem a few years back and had to use a hub, it was not Reach but Far Cry, there may be a similar issue, I'm not sure.
Nope. Just using an ethernet cable directly from one xbox to the other.
I'm not being funny but both consoles have a disc in ????
Yes they do
