Bungie's Pretty Depressing Nowadays...

I know they're moving on to bigger and better things, but it's still sad. They've worked on Halo for a long time, and now it ended. I don't know if I should feel happy or sad 343's making Halo 4, 5, and 6. This is a bittersweet moment I guess. But I know I'll be with them every step of the way. Bungie Rules! -Hoobla-

 • The most depressing part for me is the lack of forum goodness from Bungie employees...nothing good for me to read at work anymore :( ...for the mean time :)
That's something to be happy about?
Why wouldn't it be? Activision has been a pretty successful cross-platform publisher, which opens up new options for Bungie. They've also got a better deal with Activision than most developers get, so they keep more control of themselves. And that's both more control that Activision usually gives and more control than they had with Microsoft as a publisher. It's a good step forward.

 • I'm glad to see them start something new, the halo series was being stretched out for a bit too long, it's better they leave with their heads held high and move on to better projects.

 • Most comments seem to give this overall feel; It is sort of sad, but we're excited to see what Bungie can do with a brand new opportunity. And I guess I agree with that.

 • I'm pretty happy for Bungie being able to just move on to a new project. It's a bit overdue.

 • I think it's a great time to move on and create something new. Even though I liked Reach, I think it was one Halo game too many.

 • I felt sadder when they didnt continue the ONI series, I love halo but having more ONI games would of been pretty sweet as well.

 • I'm glad to see Bungie leave Halo. They deserve to make new games for its core fans.

 • Not really...I think this is a glorious opportunity (and challenge) for Bungie to create something new and grand that everyone will enjoy. Halo is getting old rusty. I'm sure Bungie said their goodbyes years ago or recently. They've probably moved on by now, as the next IP is most likely making them very excited.
