L.A Noire corrupt preference and unlockable data
I just started up L.A Noire and at the title menu it says "Your preference and unlockable data is corrupt and cannot be used."
nothing has happened to the game or disk between the last time I played it [being an hour ago] and now.
Help would be appreciated

Same happened with me the first time, when I never even played it before. Nothing bad came out of it, though.
