sad to be left out in the cold and dark... the only thing that will help is knowing this time around i will be there (in spirit) when bungie reveal their next universe. i just hope its as explsive as halo

I've been a "Halo fan" since Halo 2. I went back later on and played Halo: CE and I thoroughly enjoyed that, as well. I've been a fan of Halo since 2005, but I feel like I'm more a fan of Bungie now since Halo is going to a new developer. I pretty much felt that, after Halo 3, I was ready to move on. Reach sucked me back into Halo, but I'm sure that this time I'm done with the Halo franchise once Bungie's new game comes out. I want to be a fan of Bungie and I hope I can prove that with this new game. In the mean, I think I'll try out every other non-Halo Bungie game and play them while I wait for Bungie's next game. Thank you, Bungie, for all your hard work and dedication to the community. I look forward to another 10 years of awesomeness from your team of developers. [Edited on 06.10.2011 5:18 PM PDT]

I'll be missing you and your magical writing ways Urk. I never read the weekly updates for updates on Halo but more for how you write... especially after hearing about the chickenpede.Awesome! I've been worrying that Marty would stay with halo, but i'm releived to see he'll be going with bungie. I think this is a great chance for Bungie to become number one again. All this time you guys will be going out, a new universe will be in the works! I'll be awaiting your return bungie! It won't be the same without Bungie, but that's the hook, and always has been: Bungie. I love Halo. I always will. But I owe a lot to Bungie for creating and sharing the universe. Even though I couldn't send in a submission, it was an absolute HONOR to inspire the final Bungie All Stars. Wish there had been a bit more info, most of it was either depressing or Grunt strippers.Really can't wait to see what Aerospace turns out to be. Might be a long wait beforehand, but hopefully it'll be worth it. Also some really amazing shots for this weeks All-Star contest. I can see one or two becoming my new background.Even though you're going dark until the dawn of the next big thing which is some yet unreleased date in the future, it would be nice to get a guestimate of where it is in the development stage. Dangling a nice tasty morsel on Bungie Day would be appreciated so that we all at least have a hint of when to expect some news. As for no more news on Halo, I think that Halo: Anniversary being a remaster of Bungie's baby it's only appropriate & truly fitting that you do a Weekly Update to give a nicely crafted review of it. With something so near & dear to all the veterans and how hard it was relinquish the reigns to 343, the temptation to publicly offer up your opinions shouldn't be resisted. I'm sure I speak for a large majority of the Halo / Bungie community when I say that you owe it to your baby to give it at least that much. I foresee in the future there will be some words on Halo 4 (possibly sequels 5 & 6) even if only a measily paragraph. Bungie are the proud parents of John 117, it's quite acceptable to rant and rave at whatever trouble their offspring manages to get himself into. :-P And a response to that previous post about 343 not treating Halo as well as Bungie. At least Bungie's forums can be read without requiring a login, 343's forums are not publicly viewable they do actually require login to even read anything. Boooooooo!!!!!I'm not sad at all. I'm really happy for you guys, and mega-excited for a game where I feel that subtle power of familiar, welcoming, and creative minds working some elder magic. Quit being a fanboy. Just because Bungie is not making it does not mean someone else will do worse. In fact, they may have a better take on the series. And so what if we won't be fighting the covenant. I bet we will be fighting I assume the forruners in Halo 4 as the the official site mentions "an ancient evil". More importantly to an indevidual like myself... The story is perfect. The story that Bungie had come up with to create that universe is the single best story my ears have let me hear.
