Credit Reset Disputes - 5/24/2011
Good afternoon,
We have executed a round of Credit Resets for accounts which have habitually exhibited idling or "AFK" behavior while playing in Firefight Matchmaking. If you believe your ban was a false positive, you can post a request for investigation.
[b]Only request an investigation if you are absolutely sure that your ban was a false positive, if we take the time to investigate your account and find that you do have idling or "AFK" behavior, we will place an extended Credit Ban on your account.[/b]
Do not use this thread for any other discussion. If you are not requesting an investigation of your Credit Reset from 5/24/2011, do not post in this thread.

Plus, If you only did it less that 5 times or so, I'm sure they'll let it go. Everyone has had to idle in a game atleast a couple times. Although, if they're gonna search in matchmaking they need to be there.....or they'll get reset/banned. I'm sure they'll lose loads of players because of this, because a lot of people are insecure and can't accept the consequences for their actions. [Edited on 05.24.2011 4:32 PM PDT]

Also, the AFK's didn't even play anyways, so it's better to get rid of them.

Not everybody spends their time on a game developers website. You shouldn't have to, to find out. I have never seen any in game message that said anything about not playing in firefight. I have about network manipulation but not afk.

I'm going to ask for everyone complaining about their rank resets in separate threads to be blacklisted. It's one thing to see one every day. It's another to see FIVE HUNDRED OF THEM at once.

I believe I have been falsely banned. Please Investigate, If you need billing information from Time Warner I can provide that as well for my service repairs. I apologize if my internet habitual lags me out of matches in Multiplayer, Fire Fight and Campaign. I never AFK in matches and I even make vids of Reach. I boost with people and guests but never Idling guests. My guests always get kills. After reviewing several of my games all I can find are a few games of FF Limited with 0 across the board for everyone where I was lagged out of. So please explain why I am reset and banned 2 weeks? To everyone here complaiaing about their AFKing being from their children/girlfriend/wife/etc playing the game: Make them either use a separate account, or make them play custom firefight where you cannot be banned. [Edited on 05.24.2011 4:25 PM PDT]

Haha I find it funny how all of you who dispute having ever AFKing are absolute liars. For your information if you go AFK after participating in FF for just a couple minutes still counts as AFKing, the same goes for those who claim AFK once or so a week. If you have to go do something then turn off your console, handle your business then come back on and play, don't enter a FF match and then go AFK because you have to take a dump in the toilet or you gotta go eat dinner. I'm sure you can make up for the loss in 2000 or so credits in no time as opposed to leeching off the hard work of those who actually play.

I want a investigation...seriously. If I AFK'd, it was for a pretty damn good reason, not just to get credits. I am not even so much concerned about the credit ban as I am about getting my rank and Armor back, which I worked my ass off for.
