Ideas for a possible cool Halo RP or Story
In the final days of the Human-Covenant War John-117, Thel Vadam, and Sergeant Johnson (who gave his life), managed to activate, and destroy Halo and kill a large amount of the Flood infestation in December, 2552. But the fighting didn't stop there. It lasted up until late March of 2553. I think its safe to assume Truth didn't commit all of the Covenant forces stationed on Earth to the Ark, a lot of them surely stayed behind. So how did the UNSC manage to turn the tides in those last few months? I think it could be a rather cool, and divergent, RP, that could take surprising turns as the UNSC makes their final resistance against the invading Covenant armies with their Separatist allies.
Anyone have any ideas they could contribute? I'm working on a novel of my own right now, but once I am finished, I could take a shot with Microsoft at writing a halo novel. Hey it won't be anywhere near as good as the others, but I'm willing to try!
A cool name I came up with is [i]Atonement[/i].

I think they need to make a live action TV series with half-hour long episodes. It should be based on the novels, the games, and some extras stories.

That sounds totally awesome and it shouldn't be a novel - it should be the honorable ending to the Halo series. Seeing the brutal, gritty events that happen after the war would be entertaining and engaging.

Essientally we are in the future 2579 and we have a group known as the Cavalcade which is all elite Covenant based faction, fighting against the EDF UNSC and Forsaken (Insurrection and Seperatist Elite faction) also known as the coalition at this time. Sorta almost done our first arc after a hell of a lot of hard work.

The tension between them and the forcing of them to have to compromise and in the end, get along, to face a much greater threat. What that threat [i]is[/i] I have yet to decide. Little can happen in a few months, but it will probably take a turn with the protagonists journeying to some ancient Forerunner artifact at the @$$ end of space and discovering all the information about the Pre-history Human Empire and their war with the Forerunners, etc. Probably an encounter with a super-intelligent all-powerful 'godlike' rampant Forerunner machine or AI... Any ideas anyone would like to contribute are welcome! Once I get enough people interested we could RP!

I like the idea and if we (RP community) didn't already have our own canon I would use your idea with your permission of course.
