kid decapitated by roller coaster
Okay, I know this story is old but some friends and I started discussing it recently and the argument pretty much seemed split between "That kid is retarded and they shouldn't shut down the ride" and "anyone could make that mistake they should shut that dangerous ride down".

Basically, some kid at a six flags jumped two 6 foot fences with danger signs plastered all over them to cross through the ride area in an attempt to cut in line and the coaster came through and knocked his head off.

In 2002 the same thing happened to a gardener there... I guess their heads were a tad loose eh? Maybe the teenager was going to get some head... I'm terrible *leaves thread crying*

Erm, couldn't he see the tracks of the rollercoaster and have the sense to not walk near them?

I could see them shutting it down for an hour or even for the rest of the day after it happenned. But there's nothing wrong eith the coaster, they should have opened it back up if they haven't already.

It's honestly the kids fault. The area was restriced for a reason. Now he's dead because he wanted to get ahead in line. Genius. Natural selection at its best folks. I mean, don't get me wrong I feel bad for the kids family as losing a loved one is anything but a fun experience. However, the park should not be closed down due to this kids ignorance.
