What is the sweet music from? Anyone know? It seems like its a nice bit of new music from the elder, but I don't know. It doesn't sound like any of the songs I have heard on the Reach Soundtrack.

The maps look interesting, but ponying up 800 ms points for three maps is a bit of a turn off, no matter how good a track record the developer has. If the first map pack is made free, then I would consider picking this up as well to complete the set, but as long as the previous DLC installments are made free, I think we should wait until the last of the three DLCs is released before buying one. P.S. Firefight rocks, so quit blamming about how you're getting ripped off. Expand your horizons, play some FF Ltd.

Guess what, the Certain Affinity maps in Halo 2 looked good compared to Bungies maps. And guess what else, they were garbage compared to Bungies maps. I do honestly find it pathetic that Bungie is already resorting to out sourcing DLC content mere months after release. They should've just said "Yea, we don't care about Halo Reach anymore. It made us millions of dollars and now we're going to sweep into some dark corner to rot away"

Agree with Shutdown^. This map pack should have had a small, symmetrical, competitive map. Last time around we got an Invasion/BTB map, a BTB map, then a small map that would have been good but was ruined by a low gravity gimmick. This time around we get a Firefight map, a BTB map, and another would be good map that looks like it will again be ruined by the low gravity gimmick. Don't make this like Halo 3 where we had to wait two years just to get Heretic and Citadel. As it is, we still only have two good, small symmetrical maps that weren't made in Forge World, that's not enough. [Edited on 02.14.2011 2:34 PM PST]

Why would they put a low gravity section on Condemned? Didn't they notice how poorly received that was on Zealot and Anchor 9? This game doesn't need more gimmicks. It does however need a patch for KOTH.

they look cool and i know that i will buy it under one condition!! just like the other halo's before any new map pack the ones from before became free!! if they don't announced this, i won't be buying the new ones!! sorry bungie but you are getting to that point that irritates the community in a big way!!

Halo 2 had 4 map packs: Three that featured 2 maps, and one that featured 5. The 2 map offerings cost only $4, and the 5 map bundle was $10. [Edited on 02.14.2011 2:05 PM PST]

Seems to me like a lot of people are a little bit upset with bungies map packs. Im excited for the new defiant maps, and will gladly pay the 800 MP for them.

The music to this is amazing!!! Please Give us a download Bungie like you did with the last multiplayer map pack! I am in love with it!!! Highlands looks so beautiful too, am definatly going to buy this pack, I wish most of my friends didn't quit playing this game, it has problems, but Bungie is working on many of them. To Me Highlands looks like the most Haloistic map since the Halo 1 days, it looks like a map out of CE that got graphics improved 99% it makes it feel like Halo!

Is... is it bad I am almost more impressed with the art and epic scenes of these maps than the main game itself????? Don't get me wrong.. I loved Reach but I really felt it was just lacking in some of the epic stuff that we could have seen... and are NOW seeing in these maps. I never expected to see Reach actually... burning from orbit. I love seeing the huge Covenant and UNSC ships like this. It's just absolutely amazing to me. Now if only Reach had a Prophet in it... I'd be completely happy. :c
