I'm curious to know if Bungie made the art assets for this map pack or if Certain Affinity made everything from scratch.

I always enjoy new maps, but too bad these will rarely see the main playlists. Still got money for it, and I always enjoy new Halo maps, but are these coming early or late in March?

So the guys who made the average maps that were put into COD-WaW and COD-Blackops MP 1 made these maps and are gonna pocket some cash themselves? No surprise there... Well it's okay, I'll save my pocket money for Halo Nemesis =)

Map Packs have contained 3 maps and have cost 800 MS Points since the Heroic Map Pack in 2007. I really don't know why people are expecting more at this point. Looks awesome and I can't wait to buy it. [Edited on 02.14.2011 6:20 PM PST]

Looks good, probably won't be purchasing it though. Way too steep of a price for only 3 Maps, maybe 250 MS points would be a better range. The Firefight map looks awesome though, with the Rocket Hog and such.

I swear to god, this is what I want from a halo map pack, I only wish there was more content besides 3 maps, i would even pay 1200 MSP for one more firefight and MM map. And to think this is made by 343, perhaps they got style.

Or is he sufficiently moved on to a higher purpose by now? 0.o Either way, it's good news, imo...Because the track itself was quite effective enough. :3 As for the maps...I'm always interested whenever one is shown in orbit or in a forerunner installation, so there's that. Maybe it's part of my pro-Sangheili leanings. /:

This will be the first map pack in the history of Halo map packs that I will not purchase. The environments look standard, there doesn't seem to be anything original and 800 MPs is EXTREMELY steep for only TWO maps.

The maps look really good and the environments should be really fun. I do hope that we get some more playtesting of the maps before the release.

Lol, if you're going to announce something for your own game, at least get the word out first. Bungie Fail. Three maps for 800 points? No thanks. I hardly ever play firefight either, so I'd only end up playing two of them. This game is slipping down the pan very quickly. Disappointment Bungie, disappointment.

Found the music! I thought it was a composition made for this trailer, but it's really from the Halo: Legends soundtrack. Halo: Legends was a piece of crap (I can have an opinion; not an anime fan), but this piece is awesome. The music of Halo was one of the first reasons I was drawn to the game, and I think the song they used totally captures the feel of Halo: Reach.
