Okay so I go to college and in my room, I have my xbox live hooked up. My xbox live works just fine but the only problem with it is that my college's network is on STRICT NAT. Because of that, I can't join certain people. I know how to login into A ISP/your IP address but at college, I don't know how to because the whole network is used campus wide. I have tried asking the Tech department to open the NAT to at LEAST the Moderate settings but I haven't gotten a reply. If anyone can tell me how to fix this so I can join my friend on Halo 3, that would be greatly appreciated.
I have tried countless times searching for the answer on B.Net's Router thread and on Google. Sadly enough, I can't find anything close to the answer.
Please help! Thanks :)

It may be a TAD bit expensive BUT.... it's VERY user-friendly OS will make anything you try to do on your computer about 5,000x easier. And no it doesn't make you stupid if you use a Mac ;)

Incase there are others who want the tutorials on using their laptop as a wireless tether for your xbox live, here are both the tutorials. They are very good and bring you the solution step-by-step. Use an iMac or MacBook (Pro) as a wireless internet tether for xbox live Use your laptop as an xbox 360 wireless adapter Now I don't use PC and haven't in AGES so I don't know how that one works but if that one doesn't make sense, there are the same tutorials but for different kinds of Window's versions so just find it on the side of the page. This website in general is very helpful for pretty much everything.
Posted by: AshKillem find some one in your dorm who has an xbox (should be easy enough) and see if he or she has the solution... better a hands on/direct approach IMO
My RA has his xbox live up. His gamertag is ThirtyDialogues. His room is 2 rooms down and I can't even join his games. He also has his own router but with a WEP Security password protecting it from other people who want better WiFi >:-( lol

If that's the only way to do so, then I am more than happy to do so but don't know how to start it.

If it's not your router, the only thing you can do is ask the owner to help you out.
