Isaac Hannaford, Bungie artist reveals some unreleased concept art
What do you guys thing about some of this stuff?

A good bit down into the page, but yeah, not made by Isaac but still halo-related.

i really like the custom helmet designs. not just the ones you showed, but some of the in game ones were pretty kickass

This is not new. This is pre-Reach material. The forerunner suit is actually (((SPOILERS))) in the story Halo: Cryptum. It reveals a lot.

I'm guessing he mean Mk. IV? Judging by the helmet which resembles Jorges, which is a Mk.IV helmet with modifications for shields, I would assume so? Look at the other concept art of the armor and see for yourself. [Edited on 02.05.2011 6:53 AM PST]

I saved the image of the Forerunner, from the file name it seems that Cryptum had a few details planned out a long time ago. The picture's file name is Promethean. O_O

Hope we get to see some of that Forerunner mega-armor in action, if by either the next Forerunner book or a new game. 6 times the strength of MJOLNIR! And if anyone read the part in Cryptum about what happens when you piss the Forerunners off, yeah, their armor would have to survive THAT! (basically the end of the world)

Very cool armor indeed. I love the way that the Sniper is actually part of the the guy's arm. It's like a mix between a Geth and Megaman.

i'm just saying from the looks of the suit, while i was expecting it to look like Mjolnir armour, it actually looks more like the Elites in some ways but yes according to the actual story sources, Forerunners look like humans, and indeed most probably ARE humans, just of a very different culture
