I know they are not the best pokemon, but its a debate around my school, please, healthy debate only, i will report debbie downers.
EDIT: not quite what i wanted guys so lets try this
A battle between a lv.100 Nidoking and lv.100 Heracross
Nidokings Moveset / Heracrosses Moveset
earthquake / megahorn
horn drill / swords dance
strength / brick break
toxic / hyper beam

Nidoking uses Horn Drill first turn, is faster, auto-win. So in theory, a level 100 Nidoking can beat any non sturdy/non ghost type Pokemon.
-
Heracross. Nidoking got nothing on Hyper Beam.
Posted by: PaperKing In a 1v1, Nidoking MIGHT win, just because it resists Heracross's primary competitive moveset (Close Combat, Megahorn, Stone Edge). Overall, Heracross is better. It has high attack and and a good physical movepool, and is able to wreak havoc. Nidoking is more of a mixed wall breaker, who has only average stats but varied move types, kinda a "jack of all trades- master of none". Also, OP's movesets make me laugh. Sorry, but Horn Drill, Strength? Hyper Beam!? LMAO. And Heracross can't learn Giga Drain (nor would it use it either).
i couldnt give nidoking fire blast could I

Vaporeon kicks both their asses.
-
Heracross doesn't learn giga drain... O.o
-
Nidoking master race

EDIT: On second thought though, Flame Orb-Guts-Facade Heracross could probaly win. Overall, Heracross is better. It has high attack and and a good physical movepool, and is able to wreak havoc. Oh well, teach Nidoking Flamethrower. Or Aerial Ace. Done like dinnuh. [Edited on 01.22.2011 11:38 PM PST]

Nidoking, moveset is too beast. All Heracross has is Megahorn, but Earthquake is a more solid move.
-
Nidoking with Fire Blast.
-
this will also be a poll
-
Bug > Poison.
-
Heracross. He uses Megahorn, and the battle is practically won.
-
Nidoking. He is the King.
-
Heracross is like a ninja bug. I'd choose him/her.
-
Nidoking cause he looks like a beast.
-
heracross is a pimp
-
Heracross, hands down.
