why cant bungie give a flaming helmet code update

Please for the love of all of the community, EvilAg3nt just: SHUT THE **** UP! Really if you have so much to complain about go play some other game. No one likes a whiney baby! Sad face on missing out on being fast enough for the codes. Thought it was funny that there was a ton of black space, and I have a crazy habit of continuously clicking my mouse buttons, so sure enough I saw what appeared as tech jargon at first, but quickly noticed likely XBL codes. Sadly, they were probably caught within the first couple hours and all used up. Would have been nice to nab one as my bank account digits are smaller than a majority of newborn babies' weight in ounces!!! Those new maps look great. [Edited on 12.10.2010 1:09 AM PST]

I know that the full party method is still ok, but they're banning people who use the afk guest method in conjunction. This is a mistake, imo. Now if a few people want to boost by filling up a party with guests and players, the people with multiple controllers plugged in are going to have to be octopuses in order to not get banned!

isnt it funny how they didnt even clearly state anywhere, that full party boosting with guests, is considered afk boosting? i know people who have been banned for this recently, after reading a bungie post made weeks ago about full party boosters, target locator boosters, and commendation boosters not being in any danger of being banned or reset. been a fan since the birth of halo bungie, and this is the first time i can honestly say, im not happy whatsoever with what youre doing with your games.

Same situation here; 2 of my friends got cR banned for idle guest boosting, even though they were in a full party. And as Exar Kun stated, a large population of players fequently boost in full parties this way. After all, could you imagine how pointless it would be for a party full of actual players to just sit in one place and only move now and then to avoid afk, when they could make the time far more productive by plugging in guests? I was reviewing my submission email to the forgetacular contest, and when i click on the link to my map, the link no longer worked. This is leading me to believe I was one of the many who sent in broken links, as mentioned in the update. Does this disqualify me from possibley winning, or would bungie go out of there way to look in my file share and DL the map? =/
