I don't mean the abilities; those can rotate for the expansions... and override your default tactical inputs/abilities when in those activities.
Just one example. What if you could toggle to grapple on Prismatic Hunter, or Strand?
In addition to being able to slot a different melee or grenade option...
There could be both universal and subclass specific tactical abilities.
In the case of melee and grenade swaps... the benefits could be 2-fold.
1. No cooldown resetting... obviously or why have it.
2. Combo Synergies...
And nothing has to be OP either, I just like having more options on the fly... even if, say... the cooldowns were significantly increased on the tactical toggle, I'd still want it.
Another example, every class on Solar could put a healing nade in their back pocket, make the cooldown 4-5 mins when you slot it there... still would be great, but not OP.
