Barrier Handcannon is 6-8 shots?!?!?!?
So I tested anti barrier handcannon by trying Sunshot in Creation Solo Op Ultimate and it took 6-8 shots to actually stun the barrier champ. Not from first damage but 6-8 shots with its barrier up and it healing. I thought maybe it’s just Sunshot that’s bugged? Tried Agape, same thing.
In what universe is 6-8 shots with a hand cannon a viable and efficient way to take care of barriers? I mean they are just fully healed before ever stunning and you end up in a loop.
I tried the praxic blade and it’s fine and all but that saber throw doesn’t always track perfectly and may divert to another enemy nearby.
Bungie, please do something about the anti barrier hand cannon time to stun. It’s absolutely unworkable right now and swords aren’t always going to be an option especially at range.

Noticed this as well. At first I was thinking that my view might be skewed coming off having some really solid options from last season, but paid closer attention and yea there is something definitely off. Has anyone tried the new Heat ones?

2 RepliesThe champion stunning mods are garbage this time around. Should have had pulse and smg together as one, then added another weapon type for barrier imo. But our hand cannons (new gear wise) is fairly limeted, and other than Agape, most shoot slow. Kinda a bummer.

I tried Thorn and it was similar, then tried Revision Zero and that was not much better either. Pre renegades I'd also tried Wishender that only tickled them. 🤷

2 RepliesYup. Which is why i either use wishender or Eriana's vow. Eriana's vow with the solar explosions after breaking a shield is particularly strong.
