“Upper Hand” Catalyst not dropping for Praxic Blade
I’ve ran this mission 3 times, following Eso’s guide step-by-step, on legend. The other two catalysts dropped, just not “upper hand”
I am not going to waste 30 minutes running it a 4th time just to record a video for you. If you would like I can link a reddit post with NUMEROUS other people having the same issue.

(PS, it’s been over 5 months and the Tommy’s Matchbook Catalyst quest “a good match” still isn’t progressing either.)

1 ReplyThe issue seems to be that if you do not do the hyperblade and upper hand catalyst puzzles in the same run your first time through it, it locks you of out getting the one you didn't do. Even in future runs. I'm hearing that a possible workaround is to join someone who hasn't done any of the catalysts you can get it from their run.

All 3 of my team got locked out of it as well, upper hand only. Just fully ran it, it's my last match today before I went to the renegades hub. We ran it one multiple times, failed first, cleared it on second and got two catalysts. Third for upper hand, did all the steps for it, filled the white balls before the final damage phase, got the message saying we got the step done and cleared ads and did the final phase. No catalyst. From reddit saw that the only way to acquire it is to have someone host who has no catalysts and to run through it. I'm not going to attempt that, just what I read.

3 RepliesHello there, Thank you for reaching out. We understand that the Upper Hand catalyst isn't dropping, despite you fulfilling the steps for acquiring it. This does sound strange to us. If you continue to experience this, then please consider recording a video of you fulfilling the steps for getting it to drop, but it not dropping. If you record such a video, you can upload it to a site like Youtube, and share a link to it here. We'll then investigate. With regards to A Good Match, if you abandon and reacquire it, are you then able to progress it normally? Let us know, and we'll review.

1 ReplyI'm having the same issue. I keep doing the steps for both upper hand and hyperblade and am only getting additional drops of hyperblade. Tried separately and didn't get it to drop from that either.
