Who's idea was Hawthornes Field-Forged?
There are literally over 500 weapons in the game right now and someone chose to make hawthornes field-forged shotgun a focus weapon in renegades?! This thing sounds like it was made with a hammer and nails. I have over 4500hrs in this game and can say that I will be actively avoiding activities with this weapon as the focus item.
We had a fresh slate to right some wrongs, the portal sucked, bungie doubled down making the portal extra cumbersome and recycled weapons that LITERALLY no one wants.
There are a lot of things that they got right with this update so far but seeing that trash weapon pop up as a focus item actually pissed me off.

No one wanted bro that thing was used all over crucible in the early parts of the game I agree I hate the gun but saying no one nah there's a lot of pvp people who want a new one

2 RepliesIt's a chill clip shotgun for...punchy bros, I guess? Takes care of overloads too. Not totally useless. Not every weapon will be meta.

I'm glad they brought Riptide back. I could never get one with Auto holster and chill clip. That combo dropped on the first one. I know I can focus it now but didn't want to waste the resources. I couldn't care less about the shitgun.
