Constant error code weasel. cant play the game

So I haven't played the game in well over a year, and my buddy decided to update and launch it on my PS5, which inspired me to try it out on Steam again. Well I cant get more than maybe 30 seconds at most on PC without a weasel error code. Some background, I have tried literally everything, Wired/wireless, port forwarding, switching my modem to bridge mode, VPNs, firewall settings and nothing has worked, I am having zero packet loss, my connection is amazing, and I have no issues playing on my playstation. I've verified the files multiple times and have reinstalled it twice to no avail. I have even reached out to my ISP, who sent a tech out, they replaced my modem just to see if that was the issue, and they verified that there are no issues with the fiber line, and the issue still persists. I have updated my motherboard BIOS and wireless and Bluetooth drivers as well with no change in the problem.

  • They put out a PSA that if you have a in-game titan loadout with the Wormgod Caress arms, it will cause Weasel error. You will want to use the Destiny 2 app, or a 3rd party app like Destiny Information Manager to delete the Wormgod Caress from the loadout. Should sort the issue (if that's what this problem is).
