Skipping past everything isn't "skill gap".
When I was a serious gamer.... 🤓, lol. My opponents would insult me by calling me, "Tech".
There are 2 insults that are quite common... that, and "Masher".
I wasn't Tech though... to explain it describes someone that uses an action out of band/balance... but that's all they do.... for example, in the newest Street Fighter... Drive Rush & Perfect Parry was broken "Tech" at launch.
It ruined the endgame.
"Masher" - just to explain it, is someone with unbelievable reads and input skill... like Justin Wong. Where you can do frame perfect inputs consistently under pressure and in competition.
People don't understand it, so they call people like Justin "Mashers" as an insult.
@Bungie... you need to nerf movement "Tech" into the ground, or the endgame will mean nothing.
Everything will be timer cheesed instead of actually playing the higher tier content as it's intended. Fake Parsing needs to be addressed in this game.
The other option is totally rebalancing the portal without the timer mechanics...
At the very least the Grapple modifier should be shelved if not removed permanently or inaccessible for higher difficulties and for higher tier loot.
You nerfed our mobility, I'm adapting... I understand why now, to balance some of these factors... I'm adjusting.
You can't let easy movement tech undermine the rewards scaling.
You NEED to kill it all. Right now. Don't do it piecemeal... Skating & Eager.
@Bungie for your consideration ASAP, please and thank you 😇👍💠.
P.S. I think the grapple modifier is tons of fun... I love it, how it feels... going to be impossible to balance for upper tiers... because if you adjust the timers for it? Then it becomes a requirement and the only way to achieve max grades.
This needs to happen for the betterment of the game.
