SBMM control is completely unbalanced
I am done with control and the crazy matchmaking where one team gets all high elo and high KD players and the other somehow gets average 1.0 casuals who never once try to push out of spawn. This game mode has been completely ruined for me but I guess it's better for the casuals who almost never play. So good for you guys. You can have it all to yourself but when you come to trials, sbmm will not help you

I think people stopped moving forward cause we have been in a perpetual pulse meta. No one caps objectives. Only the long time players or guardians with gimmicks fight for heavy. It's boring.

1 ReplyThe problem with SBMM in destiny is not every 2.0kd is built the same Someone who maintains a high KD with submachines, shottys and fusion rifles are typically much more bothersome to play against than someone who's 2.0 kd is from sitting in the back with a jade rabbit.

This is because it's not really SBMM this has been mentioned a million times. It only does a small bit of SBMM if you're like 5+ losses in a row or a completely new player.

No, it's not! The problem is that all of you casuals think you're good because you manage to kill people by holding hands, spamming abilities, and using guns with zero recoil. That flawed system instantly collapses when you guys get wiped. You then assume what worked for you the last few times has to work again and just keep playing the same way. And that gets you killed — over and over. You don’t adapt, you’re using the wrong loadouts, you’re not positioning yourselves properly, and then you leave the game, complaining it’s unfair. Sorry, my guy, but you’re the victim of a false impression, and you just refuse to adapt. So blame Bungie, but not for unbalanced games.

You do understand that SBMM stands for 'Skill Based Matchmaking' don't you? If it genuinely was working, then there's no way it can be working properly, so how could that be better for anyone (casuals included)?

4 Replieslol when has it ever been balanced! Right now crucible is a complete virus which was obviously going to happen . PvP is done and Bungie are just leaving it as it is ….more just maintaining. So sad to see so many and the usuals taking pvp so seriously especially now ….not much skill needed with all the cheese , op weapons and exotics , cheating and so on . I’m only ok because of the high high aim assist ….constantly seeing my gun whip around to the target 😂
