In the past month alone we have seen changes to: • Limit the outsized impact RDM has had in Crucible when paired with various Exotic weapons via targeted nerfs • Bring Redrix’s Estoc more in line with other Legendary Pulses • Address the bug allowing Class-specific Swords and Glaives to be used across Classes by just embracing it just a new feature Each of these were lobbied for by parts the community. It’s important to bear in mind that they cannot implement [i]all[/i] the feedback they receive because a) there is a lot of feedback that runs counter to [b]other[/b] feedback and b) the devs need to reserve some amount of room for making the game in a manner that they can feel passionate about. Equally important is the acknowledgment that not all feedback which the devs have interest in addressing can be acted upon within the same timeframe. The three examples above are relatively straight forward; adjust a few values here and there, decide [b]not[/b] to revert a few item flags to their pre-Heresy states. But other ideas need more time to cook: • Players were complaining about the time-gating of storylines and content we see with Seasons and Episodes, so we got some changes with the launch of Revenant; these changes clearly should have spent more time being worked on before they were instituted, but we have seen a somewhat more stable roll out with Heresy and the content coming with Frontiers is reportedly going to feature a different release cadence with less time gating and more freedom in tackling various objectives at the pace and in the order players choose. • Reasonable discussions about how Hunters are dependent on what is otherwise a dump-stat for the other Classes while Titans and Warlocks get to focus on stats that have marked additional benefits is [i]hopefully[/i] being addressed with the overhaul of Armor Stats thanks to a wider array of stats and bonuses for investing beyond just differences in cooldown rates. • Issues with how players pursue the loot they want are being addressed within the “Portal” functionality also coming with Frontiers, allowing finer control over various forms of difficulty modifiers in exchange for expanded control over loot drops. The supposed [i]truism[/i] that “Bungie never listens to feedback” comes from a variety of sources including (but not necessarily limited to) those who aren’t paying attention to changes that have already happened or are currently being worked on, those who have unrealistic expectations about what can be addressed and how quickly, and those who are upset about issues they have with the game state in general and are venting. So give your feedback. Just be realistic with your suggestions and try not to let it get to you if your ideas aren’t acted upon. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)

Are they even reading their own forums? I feel like they're all circle jerking on reddit. And from what I've seen they've heavily moderated their subreddit - or it's simply just filled with the biggest fanboys. There's really no other explanation for their subreddit being as overwhelmingly positive as it has been the few times I've checked in.

This forum is a placebo. It exists to keep their precious social feed clear of the "bad think" that they don't want to see. Though that didn't end up working either in the end. Bungie basically pays for this domain to post the TWAB, and I'm surprised it even gets that much attention anymore.

Gotta bear in mind they did lay off half the company and that includes people who looked over bugs hence why half the bugs still exist and just get a band-aid attached to it but also they got rid of a majority that look at feedback and take it into account. It's sad that this has happened but had to cut corners to save money... or buy classic cars but that's besides the point.

"What happens to feedback?" 1. It gets completely ignored 2. It's used as comedy material for the Bungo employees at lunch time 3. It's taken under serious advisement, totally reworked and half brained into a "solution" to all your ills. Three answers, take your pick.

LOL.....feedback is only a venting forum for players. Not 1 bungie employee will read any of this. Remember they are 6 months ahead on development so dont have time to fix any garbage. Use it to vent or to trigger the toxic bungie apologists

Majority of people here exaggerate and lie for attention so it’s no wonder Bungie doesn’t interact with people here. Real discussions can be found elsewhere.
