Act 2: rites of the deep issue
Competed step one if acts of the deep, then competed step 2. Gaining all the rifts. Then some how I've lost the quest.
Had to go back to the slab and re-acquire the quest that has defaulted back to step one. So started again and did another completion of court of oryx and then got quest step 2 to go and find rifts again.
Now I'm stuck. I go to the nether and no rifts appear, anywhere… I've tried abandoning the quest and re-acquiring
Just outright stuck now…

Mine has finally started working after ACT 3 release. Looks like it auto-completed the step!

I’m having the same issue….quest disappeared and after getting it back from the slab, I now can’t find any rifts.

Same here, also having issues with path of ambition quest. Where I completed it but the quest didn't disappear but the node to activate the quest is gone.

I have this issue as well. It is not listed as a known issue on the respective Bungie page but they said to another person having this same issue in the forum they are "investigating". I even had completed the step where you need to scan all the rifts, and went to the Shaping Slab, switched to Act 1 progression (Path of Resolve) and suddenly the quest was no longer in my quest log and all my progress, lost...

Same here. Trying on alts also no help. Even tried with fireteam members being on the same step. Rifts show for them but not me.
