I have so many story ideas, that I want to turn into books and video games in the future. Here is one of them: The setting is a sort of anti-dystopia. After a nuclear war, that drove humanity to the brink of extinction, the remaining humans built a utopian city in the middle of a wasteland. In this city, there is no government and no official laws. Peace is kept by private police forces hired/funded by the ultra-rich. The story follows a doctor who has become extremely wealthy after curing a deadly virus that plagued the city for several years. Years ago, before the cure was developed, the doctor’s son caught the virus. Although the insisted on leaving the son outside to die, his wife refused to do so. So, the wife and son were both kicked out of the doctor’s home to die. Contrary to what the doctor presumed would happen, the son miraculously recovered, but his wife caught the virus from the son and died. In the present day, the doctor has grown depressed due to the guilt he feels from the loss of his family and the boredom that comes with never having to work again because of his extreme wealth. Somehow he comes across the information that his son is still alive and is now a renowned assassin. With nothing left to live for, the doctor anonymously writes to his son requesting that he assassinates the doctor himself. As a reward, the son will receive all the wealth the doctor has. So, most of the story follows the doctor trying to survive assassination from his son, because he is bored with life, and desires some sort of excitement again.
